Panto. Scaling up. (Trees) (December 2013)

We had to scale the tree up from a plan given to us by the Tutor. Each 50mm square represented half a metre. There was 2 trees to scale up plus a header. Each tree was to be 4 and half metres tall.

I measured the plan square by square and each section of the drawing, Lois marked up the tree onto the paper. We worked together transferring the original small scale drawing onto the paper scaling up the picture of the tree.

We were scaling the trees up in size so they can be used in the upcoming Pantomime at the sides of the Front of Stage and the Header will go in the middle between them.
Pippa helped draw our outlines in bold pen so we could see the tree more clearly. All 3 of us cut the shape out.

The next stage will be to cut the paper pattern out in calico which will then be sized and painted, the final piece will then be then used at front of stage as scenery.
